Fan Favorites Awards: Round 1

Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls! We are excited to announce that the first round of polls have opened for the Angels Fan Favorites Awards!

These fan choice awards will highlight superlatives of the Angels’ 2015 season through categories like Best Defensive Player, Most Outstanding Pitcher, Best Emoji, etc. We will be releasing a new batch of categories on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, October 20
  • Thursday, October 22
  • Tuesday, October 27

All polls will close on Wednesday, October 28 and the results will be posted right here on The Halo Way on Friday, October 30.

As you will notice, we tried our best to limit the categories to a small number of choices for easy voting. Stir up the hype of the awards by posting in the comments section below. Keep up the conversation and you may be the one rewarded!

Next, we have the “Halo Hope for 2016.” Whether they’re coming off injuries, were newly acquired or showed an unexpected spark this year that could potentially help the team next season, it’s all up for your interpretation. Which player do you believe will carry the most “hope” into the 2016 season?

 

This year, we rolled out Angels-themed emojis for your sharing pleasure! We’ve narrowed it down to the top 5, now it’s  up to the fans to decide this year’s “Best Haloji”. Visit angels.com/emoji to download your favorites!

 

 

 

Now, you’ll be voting on the “Best Promotional Giveaway” at Angel Stadium this season. We attempted to narrow down the choices to the most popular items, but feel free to vote for a 2015 item that is not currently on the ballot.

 

We will close Round 1 by voting on the “Best Fan Photo” that our photographers captured at Angel Stadium during the season. Cast your vote based on the corresponding captions on the pictures and on the poll below.
